Research Interest
I am interested in understanding the neuronal correlates of visual perception: What exactly happens in our brain, when we perceive our surroundings and are we able to trace this process? I mainly work with EEG data and use MVPA to identify the association between certain neuronal patterns evoked by different stimuli, like faces, words and objects.
I think, to truly understand the complex mystery of the human brain, more interdisciplinary research is needed. This is the reason, I am eager to work on the interface between cognitive neurosciences, computer science and engineering.
