Transcranial magnet stimulation (TMS) is a non invasive form of brain stimulation, using an electromagnetic coil which is connected to the scalp. This way an electromagnetic field is created, which provokes another induction of inverted electric charge within the brain. With this method certain parts of the brain can be either activated or inhibited to gather further knowledge about how they function.
